I'll bring my Go board. It hasn't been played on yet. Does 6pm work for you? That should give us plenty of time for a 13x13 game, or a couple of 9x9 games.
I can bring Tigris & Euphrates.
I wouldn't mind joining this - though I'd be super keen for TM if anyone wants to bring a copy?

I will be up for that. A bit of alien themed adventure in tribute to Bill Paxton.
Cool, see you there!
Hi Dave it looks like I may be late down tonight. Probably between7.30pm and 8pm
Don't mind if you start without me.

Only watched the Tom vassal review. It seems relatively straightforward.
I'll keep you posted on my time progress it's possible I may get back earlier.

For the most part it is pretty simple, mechanically speaking. Okidokes, see you later

Ace should be there around the same time - grab a table if I'm not there already!

Re: Tuesday 28th February
Great evening. Thanks for the games as always, folks.
Go: everyone talks about ultra-deep complexity, about simple rules, or about AI, but it's also just a great deal of fun. The shapes you build up have a little character of their own, a little story as they are born and grow and merge and dominate (or die). There is also so much potential for human unpredictability, for surprise, and (at least at my meagre level of experience) for dramatic unintended consequences. Playing it feels like no other game. Love it.
Psycho introduced me to ZERTZ, another abstract from the GIPF series. The best game pieces in any game ever. Learning a new abstract and even just trying to get my head around the basics was such a delightful mental stretch. I wouldn't say I got it even after two games, but I liked the game a lot.
Tigris and Euphrates amazes me with how clever it is every time. Another game where it seems there is nothing quite like it. I think we finished in reverse order of experience, weirdly: Samuel won, then Me, Tom, then Psycho.
I was borderline comatose by this point, so we finished off with Epic Spell Wars, which was actually pretty nice. A lightweight card game of playing combinations of cards, where the cards fit together to combine their artwork and names. I liked the Adventure Time-y artwork, and the VERY IMPORTANT mountain prop.

I think I was actually dead last, 1 point behind Sam who was 1 point behind Sam who was 1 point behind Sam. You must have tired my brain out with that Go game.
Go was good. I think we're pretty much at the same level.
