Paul & I were thinking about Terra Mystica if anyone fancies that?

Think I'm down for Xia this week, but I would definately be up for Terra Mystica in the future. I'm surprised it hasn't had more love at the club.

Yeah, I've seen it played a couple of times but not as much as I would have thought! I suppose one problem with it is that rules explanation + a game of it makes it quite a lengthy prospect if there are people who haven't played before. But, yes, definitely up for playing some of this in future week(s)!

I'll play Terra Mystica. I haven't played before but I'll read the rules. Are the rest of you grizzled Terra Mystica veterans?

Guy from work has dropped out so I'll be coming on my own. Doesn't seem to be any interest for Pandemic so I'll not bring it and will just see what is going on when I arrive.

I'll play Terra Mystuca too, if there are no takers for Machi Koro.

I'd still bring it - you would be amazed at the number of organised games that change on the night... Razz

Oooh, so lots of interest in Terra Mystica - exciting! Kat and I are going to play Heroes Wanted with Aneurin tomorrow (if that's still ok!) and Terra Mystica is pretty much a whole evening game so how about we play Terra Mystica on March 3rd? We'll bring it along tomorrow anyway in case anyone else wants to play with it...

I've not played Pandemic in -ages- - I wouldn't mind having a crack at it again, assuming I make it tomorrow (about 75% likelihood)

Another slot available for Xia if anyone wants in. Preferably people who have played before but it's fine either way

I've read the rules and it seems pretty straight forward, in an overly complicated kind of way. Smile

Very unlikely to make it tonight, having a horrific day at work and unlikely to leave... well today :/

Only just finished work (god bless Fluidata!) and have all the signs of coming down with a stinking cold. Not sure if I'm coming tonight, will see whether dinner and a cup of tea revives me.
However, some good news, Brewcrafters finally arrived today, so if anyone fancies some craft-brewing euro action next week, I'm your man!

Anyone lost a wheat field? Someone was playing Machi Koro on the table next to us, and I seem to have acquired a spare wheat field starter (no cost on it, yellow back) card. Let me know if it's yours and I'll bring it along next time, hopefully next week.

Bizarre game of Avalon tonight. The same two spies were sent on the first three missions, and all three accidentally succeeded. Lots of back patting for most of the game, then hilarity when roles were revealed.

Dead of Winter score board: 2-0 to Dead of Winter.

Coup still sucks.

Think the Wheat Field is mine - the hazards of having two games of Machi Koro on neighbouring tables! (I'm the less bearded Tom who was desperate to go on a resistance mission)

Thanks for letting me know!

Ah, sneaky spy Tom, well played!! Smile

Will bring your wheat field along next time. May pop in next week, but will need to leave early; will defimitely be there in 2 weeks time too.

Hopefully fit some more avalon / resistance in too...

Was totally bizarre! I was Percy, and knew either Dave or Andy was Merlin / Morgana. After the first 2 missions succeeded (both with Dave on them), I was 100% convinced Dave was Merlin, and had gone in to protect Merlin's identity mode. Using the LOTL on Andy and getting the blue card back, totally blew my mind! Was seriously wondering if Andy was colour blind...

Sam wrote:Coup still sucks.

It's not bad to be honest, if you play it with the allegiance cards; adds another layer of strategy to it.
