Tuesday 16th August @ Uni Arms

So we are back at the Uni Arms for this meeting. And I'm back from 3 weeks away - now that Pandemic has been cancelled I'm keen to get a heavy Euro played. John? Karl? What do you fancy?

Since I will be wuthering in deepest,  darkest Northumberland next week, I'll be missing my second week in a row (the shakes have already started).

I'm definitely along, missed way too many recently.

No idea what I'll want to play yet though!

I'll be in Edinburgh. Need to figure out what small-box games I can take up there with me.

I'll have Karl's copy of Impulse to give back to him, and after we took far too long to work out the rules I feel I should get at least one more game out of it. I think i could explain the rules a lot better than the rulebook, too.

Aneurin - if it's ok, I'd like to give the Euro a miss and play Impulse with Sam. I haven't played it for a while and I'm keen to get back up to speed with the rules; it became clear last night that I'd forgotten a lot of the intricacies.

Sam - we could go for a Chudyk double-bill with Bear Valley? We played the simple and complex versions last night and I think it's a really fun, short push-your-luck filler.

I did enjoy Bear Valley though despite being half asleep at the time.
