Tues 6th December SBGC XMAS PARTY!

Ho Ho Ho... this is the place to declare your attendance to the 2016 SBGC Xmas party. The price is £10. For clarity this includes £7.50 buffet for 1 person, £1.50 for extra food and £1 Pitch Car competition entry (spent - along with further kitty funds on prizes to give out). Please note for ease of organisation - nothing above is optional... it gets way to complicated... and I have enough to organise for the 24th...

Why the £1.50 extra - well £10 is a nice round number... and last year people thought there wasn't enough food. I've talked to KarlB and Aneurin and they have agreed that £50-60 of the current club kitty will be used to bolster the food by 6-8 imaginary people. The pooled extra £1.50s will also be used to get extra food - i.e. every 5 people that come there will be a further imaginary person. This should mean there is plenty to go around. We will of course spilt the food 50:50 between meat and vegie options.  

Example Buffet Food:
Selection of Sandwiches (Turkey & Stuffing, Honey Roast Gammon, Brie and Cranberry, Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese).
Pigs in Blankets (well it is cold in December)
Stilton topped pork pie
Rosemary salt roasted new potatoes
Wild Mushroom and Chestnut Quiche
Selected Petit Fours.

Any other dietary requirements - let us know here or talk directly to Aneurin/KarlB... Also money to Aneurin/KarlB please.

NEWS JUST IN - The fancy dress competition is officially on and Lizzy has organised for game designer Gino Brancazio to pick our winner (no extra for being part of this - the prize will be supported by the club). So come along in your game related fancy dress, Lizzy/Aneurin will take your picture and send it over to Gino. For some inspiration - our winner last year was Jen K with her Morgana - sorry Merlin - fancy dress. We also had a Flick 'em up cowboy, a settler of catan, a zombie from the dead of winter. Great fun.

Lizzy is also organising a secret Santa - that is extra I'm afraid. There is a separate post for sign up...
