I'm taking Noah to Patriot Games tomorrow for the POKEMON pre-release. This means I'll be sat around watching from 11am unless someone wants to keep me company. Could play some 2 player stuff... Rebellion, Twilight Struggle... anyone free and willing? Other suggestions welcome.

Hi Aneurin. Thanks for the games today. Enjoyed it, despite Kathryn playing up a bit. She's had a few too many late nights this week and was clearly a little emotional. She did enjoy herself, though. I took her down to Patriot Games afterwards because she wants to start playing Pokemon and I don't have a clue about CCGs. They explained about the pre-release and suggested she come down in a couple of weeks for a demo of how to play with the new trainer deck. We are out tomorrow in the Peak District, otherwise would have been happy to join you AND find out about Pokemon. But any top tips about the game are very welcome. I'm finding the variety of decks all a little daunting.

Hi Marc - Happy to meet up and show you guys the ropes. It's a fairly simple game. We have loads of prebuilt deck packs we can all use. Just let me know when is a good time. Glad she enjoyed herself and great to see you again.

Thanks Aneurin. That sounds like a great plan. Current weekend rota means swimming and gymnastics until about 1:00 on Saturdays, but Sundays are generally free. But as we are in town on Saturdays, maybe we could meet one Saturday lunchtime. I'll double-check with Sarah and get back to you. Enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday weekend!
