Sadly not this week, I'll bring it along next week, or the next time you aren't signed up for something..

I'm actually attending this week (my dad too)
Are you guys still upstairs in the University Arms? And is there a fee?
I'm going to be bringing 'The Football Game' if anyone wants to give it a try.

It can have up to 6 players, so there is room for a few more
See you soon
Rob
Hi Rob,
Can I stick my name down for a place?
Thanks

Can I interest you in a game of Eruption?, nice tile laying game, simple rules... plays upto 6, should fit the bill
Cool can you sign me and Celia up for that. I may also have one more person coming tbc

No problem at all, I'll be there fairly early on I'd imagine to eat etc... will keep 3 spaces free.

Cheers for the game guys. Enjoyable evening. It was interesting to play this one. Quite a puzzle to work out how to get victory points - but I think there are a few options and we barely touched the buildings. Be good to try again sometime with a different set up too. I was a little surprised it wasn't any more thematic (Carson City easily beats it here) and the player interaction levels weren't huge - although that might have been due to lack of building on our part.
Will be very interesting to compare to Kanban as another heavy euro.

Looking forwards to comparing it with Kanban (and the other games you mentioned at some point). You're right about different routes to scoring. I've went hard with mainly engineers, cowboys or craftsman's in different games and have scored at least mid eighties or ninities with each one. With buildings you can double block a single route or block both alternate routes to impact other players. Also some of the powers on the mid to high buildings are ace (I've not even consider the B sides that much).
Interactions did seem lower in the 4 player game than when I've played it as a two player. Placing a building, taking the worker you wanted, not putting the teepee colour you need out, placing more hazards to block your alternate route are always you can effect others games. They don't impact as heavily than in other games I've played though.
Anyway thanks for the game
