GLOOMHAVEN
Well, i finally got my copy of Gloomhaven, second edition.
As you all will know it’s a legacy dungeon crawl with 75 plus scenarios.
I’d like to play with a group of 4, so I’m hoping to convince 3 of you to join me.
I propose we start at Uni arms on Tues 16th January and play every week for 3 to 4 hours up to, say Easter.
We might prefer to play on a different night so that we could stilll get a varied diet on Tuesdays - but we could start at Uni Arms.
if you want a look/feel of the mechanics there is a Youtube series of Rolling Solo playing the Kickstarter campaign at https://youtu.be/-V-PMsMLjyI
It is a massive universe - and I’m keen to really engage with it.
I realise it’s not a game with a result - it’s more RPG on a board - and won’t be everyone’s cup of tea - but everything I read convinces me it’s got depth and complexity.
And monsters and treasure too !
So if you’e interested message me, and I’m hoping to be at UniArms for the next three Tuesdays (although regrettably missing the Xmas do ) if people want to talk it through further.
Hope this appeals to some of you,
tim

I would how've I got this at the first edition and am a fair amount through it already. There's a possibility that we'll need someone new though since ours are very irregular of you wanted to join us

Thanks Andy. I guess I feel I’d like to play some of the early campaigns to get a feel for it before running in parallel ! Also I would worry a bit about “spoilers” - although I guess the campaigns become relatively unique.
Maybe in Feb if I can get this off the ground.

Re: GLOOMHAVEN
One thing you could do is do a bunch of scenarios on your own. Our highest level character is only level 4 or so, so we're only about 6 sessions in or so, not enough for branching to happen. Not seen any major spoilers so far, just story stuff really, Once you've levelled up you can bring that character over if you want and we can play together
