Anyone for City of Iron (2nd ed.)? Steampunky theme, some light empire/resource building and deckbuilding elements, plays up to 4.

Others FYI: if you've played Terra Mystica it's fairly easy to learn. If you've not, it's a bit of a task - so get watching some vids.

Have added yourself and Paul which fills the game. Would be grand if at least someone could be there by quarter to 7 for setup. Or everyone ideally!

I am unfortunately not going to be able to make it out tonight. Apologies for the late notice. If anyone wants to come around mine on Friday evening for games drop me a PM.

How was this?
Gaia Project was great of course. Apart from the fact that Karl cancelled, Scott stepped in and near inevitably won :-)

Gaia Project really was great! Looks like there are many different ways to play. I'm already wondering if there's a fun approach in just going up the knowledge tech track as fast as possible.psychomansam wrote:Gaia Project was great of course. Aha, so would that be for the same turtle approach you took in Exodus last time we played? There must be a race for that!

Re: Tuesday 16th January
The two grey races look promising! Actually, the pretty smart design where you need a federation to get to the top of the track stops you from doing this to the extreme but I bet you could get a lot of points!psychomansam wrote:paulyg wrote:Gaia Project really was great! Sorry about that. (However, to be fair, you're the one who insisted that I come fill up the open seat.)

Re: Tuesday 16th January
It's always a pleasure to play with you, Scott. Plenty of 'aha' moments watching your strategy unfold! I think I lost count of how many times you re-scored that federation tile.swilbur wrote:Sorry about that. (However, to be fair, you're the one who insisted that I come fill up the open seat.)
