Re: Sunday 18th February!!!
It went really well, on the day we took £774.75
Then there’s the pre ticket sales from Patriot which I believe comes to £155 and then there’s the VAT that we can claim back for the venue hire which I think is £110
This means we will have raised a total of £1039.50 beating last years total by £17.50
It surprised me as we only had 69 people + volunteers attend this year, whereas last year we had 96 people + volunteers so 27 fewer people...
I’m wondering if this was due to it being half term and people being away...
The X-Wing tournament was a bit of a flop as only 6 people entered. But I found out there was also a regional tournament down south which people may have travelled to instead.
I’m gonna try and get feedback from forums and things to maybe improve the appeal in future and maybe avoid school holiday times too

Glad it went well

Re: Sunday 18th February!!!
Turns out I thought I sold 1 more ticket than I actually had.
We raised £1,035
Thank you everyone for your continued support.
In the 3 years we’ve raised a total of £2,776 for WellChild
Thinking onwards, is there still interest from you all to continue volunteering at future events?

Yes I'm very happy to continue volunteering, I thoroughly enjoyed demoing games, and the whole day in general.

Definitely - was very disappointed this one conincided with a trip out of town. Really enjoyed doing it last year.

I had a good time, this was the first event I was able to make it to, the previous years I have been unavailable.
I was impressed with the size of it and the amount of people there, and it must have taken a lot of organising and setting up so well done to everyone involved who helped out.
Going forward I can see the event growing in popularity, hopefully raising even more money in the process.

Well done Rob, that's great!
Apologies again for only making it as a punter this year. I've not spent much time on the forum lately, so missed your message and PM. Sorry.

I'd be happy to help in the future (and I promise to keep an eye on the forum in future!)
