ConSummation3
Jerry's organising a day of games and a party at the Showroom Workstation on Saturday 28th Feb.
Details here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/consummation3-tickets-13693775451
I'll be going along to have a good cull of my collection at the bring & buy and play some games. Who else is coming along?

Sounds like fun but I probably won't be able to make this. However if someone is taking a copy of Lords of Waterdeep to sell, save it for me and I'll gladly take it off your hands, for a reasonable price of course!

Ste - I'll be working on the bring and buy so if a copy turns up I can save it for you. How much would you be willing to spend?
For anyone expecting to sell stuff there's some forms here you can fill in to speed up the process: http://www.jerryelsmore.co.uk/?page_id=122
Also, if anyone would be willing to help out, let me know - Jerry's looking for as many volunteers as he can. The more people, the less work each of us has to do! If you volunteer you still have to pay your entry, but there's bacon sandwiches, tea, coffee and beer vouchers up for grabs.

Thanks Lizzie that's awesome. Well it goes for about £25ish new so I'd say somewhere between £10-15 would be a fair price for a second hand copy in good nick. Definitely no more than £15.
In the mean time though if I accidentally impulse buy it before the bring and buy I'll tweet you or something to let you know!

Re: ConSummation3
Holy boardgames, Batman, this is tomorrow. A group of guests that checking in at the hotel I work were staying in Sheffield especially for this. It took a few minutes after they said "birthday" and "boardgames" for me to think "Jerry", but I connected the dots eventually. Actually, it was a busy weekend at the hotel... maybe ConSummation3 is the reason...
Hope I'll make it, not sure yet.

Re: ConSummation3
Did anyone pick up anything exciting in the bring 'n' buy? There was definitely some interesting stuff there, though I was under instructions not to buy anything...
Re: ConSummation3
I vowed not to buy anything (due to spectacularly falling off the Kickstarter wagon last week). Lots of games caught my eye, but I decided not to buy them unless they were still there at the end. (Un)Luckily, they all sold (2 of them to Lizzy!)PaulG wrote:Did anyone pick up anything exciting in the bring 'n' buy? Stop your whining! You said you weren't going to back it!
I've already offered to allow you to buy the pledge, you declined. :-p

Thanks to those that attended, particularly Lizzie & Paul for their help on the Bring & Buy.
21 vendors put 360 items on the stand raising £38 towards the costs of running the event.
136 items sold for a total of £1652 thereby raising £166.70 for Help for Heroes
Bake for Heroes raised £140.60.
The Auction raised £214.
Thus the total donation to Help for Heroes was £520.30
Target for ConSummation4 ???
