We are new to Sheffield and want to join the club

Hi, my names Nick. Me and my partner (Liz) have just moved to Sheffield from Edinburgh. My partner is very into board games and she has recently got me into them too. We would both love to join the club

We have a pretty small collection at the moment.

How do we join in on all the fun?

Come to the club, play a few games - and that's pretty much it Subs are £2 a year but I think the first taste is free...

There is usually threads on the forum discussing what folk want to play but there is also a healthy chunk of people that just rock up on the night and play something that someone brought with them - it's probably about a 50/50 split.

Hi

I'm also new and was hoping to come along tomorrow (although I may be slightly late as I'm coming from a class that finishes at 6.50). Currently playing a lot of Splendor and a bit of Pandemic and Ticket to Ride. Also have several Dominion sets, but I tend to play online against Bots and I'd prefer to have real opponents.

Welcome also then - don't be afraid to butt your way into a game. There are generally a few longer organised games before hand (see the relevant date thread) but plenty of folks show up between 7-8pm looking for a game and generally games end and start throughout the night so you will get to play with real people .
