Kniziathon !

Hi folks,
Fancy dedicating a Tuesday to 100% games designed by Reiner Knizia ? As part of there 30 years celebrations there's a Kniziathon Promotion and there's free stuff to be had !

So if we're up for it we shud pick a Tuesday in July as they want plenty of adavnce notice to get us our stuff and I'll fill in the online application !

I'll chuck in Igenious a Knizia classic that's not been off my shelf for far too long !

Sounds like a good idea to me, I recently picked up a copy of Star Trek Expeditions which could use a play.

Sounds good to me. Free stuff! I've got Samurai, but I think that's it.

I've got Ra and I think I've got Taj Mahal.

Ra is awful though, so I'm selling it at the Expo bring & buy and thus will hopefully no longer have it in July.

I've not yet played Taj Mahal.

Personally I'd love to play a whole load of Knizia games. I don't get to play with my lovely little Through The Desert pastel camels often enough.

Sounds like a great idea. I have Lost Cities, Strozzi and LOTR of his.

Oooh, yes, this is a great idea. I've got:
- Masters Gallery (not played this yet)
- Priests of Ra (also not played yet but did play the dice version which wasn't great)
- Strozzi (pretty fun and light)
- Tigris & Euphrates (great, deep game!)

I'd also be keen to try out his LOTR game.

I've got Palazzo which is a really good auction game.

I bought Tigris & Euphrates yesterday and had a (slightly tired and fuzzy) go at playing it that evening. It's great, even though I don't think we quite managed to explore the full intricacies of the strategy.

My Bad, i got everyone excited about this and then did precisely.........nothing i will fill in the online form now with provsisional date of Tuesday 28th July, this is just to give them plenty of time to send our 'stuff' so if it doesnt work for people we can wlays change it

Yep. I don't know if there's any changes from the original, other than having plastic pieces instead of wooden ones. I'll be bringing it along tonight.

I'll be interested to see it! Sounds like the rules are the same, just a new design and new pieces I think.
