Coup Rebellion
So Travis is extracting more money from us Kickstarter addicts... Coup Rebellion C54 is on KS. I'm backing... If anyone wants to join forces we can make things cheaper... Well slightly
It's $40 including postage for one copy... Each additional is only $33... Then divide evenly?

Noticed this today. Don't think I'll back this one. I also missed out on one night resistsnce.
As much as I love Resistance, I can't help but feel they're over-egging it a bit. They also have plans for a 3rd issue of The Resistsnce, and with what seems like a new KS every few weeks, I'm starting to feel a little cynical towards the company.
Also, I don't really play Coup much now, and probably need to get more plays from Coup Reformation.
Re: Coup Rebellion
Paul has raised a good point re import tax.... The bigger the order the more likely we will be hit by it... Annoyingly

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that buying more than one will land it into import duty. I am quite interested in this though. Not sure what to do! Except maybe just play your copy :-)
Re: Coup Rebellion
If they offer "EU friendly shipping", i.e. they ship to you from within the EU, you should not be charged import duty.
...but I'm still not listening.

...which they don't (hence my sending One Night Resistance to a friend in the US to bring over...)
Re: Coup Rebellion
Yeah, something about it being too complicated. From the outside it doesn't seem *that* complex as Amazon have a very sophisticated distribution system that you can use for this sort of thing. But I guess I don't know all the detail...

I guess they don't dare face a repeat of the last Coup shipping shambles...

During the Coup Reformation Kickstarter they offered EU friendly shipping utilising two shipping points, one in the UK and one in Germany and engaged, I think, Amazon Logistics to handle the process.
Unfortunately, the container that was supposed to go to Germany was sent to the UK and vice versa. The issue was further compounded when the German team started shipping the UK packages to the UK while the UK team redirected the container they received to Germany (where it should have gone in the first place). As you can expect, chaos ensued.
So, no, it shouldn't be complicated... unless you make it complicated.
