I was going to go to the Armada night on the Wargaming Emporium on the Monday but I'll come play X-Wing with you guys instead on this week. Count me in.

Anyone have any of these games and want to help me shorten my list?

I'd quite like to play dominant species, although i'm wary about how long it will take as i'd like to play a few different games. any ideas?


I may bring shadows over camelot, alhambra, and a few fillers.

Risk 2210 AD arrived this morning; so super eager to play that.

Does someone have North Wind? I played it once and really would like to give it another go.

Yep, I can bring that (I might be playing X-Wing if that gets set up but I'm sure you'll have no problem finding some more people to play).

Sam.... whilst you're on a "games similar to RISK" kick...I have NEXUS OPS and EIGHT MINUTE EMPIRE if you fancy giving them a go sometime?

Hope to start soon-ish, just after 7; and finish around Avalon-o-clock.

I've added you both to this list, and marked you as provisional (in case you manage to get some Sons of Anarchy going)..

Yeah, go on, I'll do 2210 also. BGG lists it as a four hour game so it might eat into Avalon time. I'd recommend everyone playing reads the rules before the night so we can go ahead and get started by 7:15 or so. Five players is supposed to be the best number, which also means the longest play time.

Shogun is down as a two and a half hour game! It looked really cool — I'll be sure to play next time.

Definitely. I played and liked Eight Minute Empire and Nexus Ops has been on my eager-to-play list for a while.
