Thinking about starting a new Star War Imperial assault (base) campaign. The plan would be to play missions once a month... 2 spots left... If you have a preference for either side state that also... I'd prefer rebels but happy to DM as the Imperials again...

I'd love to, but I don't think I can make the 29th. I'll join the next recruitment cycle.

I'm happy to run as Imperials again... Steve - don't forget your set for the cards etc... then we can keep track of the campaign easier...

Any interest in a few pre-Avalon-oclock games of The Resistance? We can play with the Plot Thickens cards again, or even try the Hunter Module out of the KS expansions...

How well a game's mechanics are integrated with it's theme usually weighs heavily in my opinion of it, but with a few exception (Dead of Winter, Legendary Encounters) I don't think I've played some of the games that are most loved because of their theme. Would anybody be interested in bringing Arkham/Eldritch Horror, Tales of the Arabian Nights, War of the Ring, Battlestar Galactica, Robinson Crusoe, Mansions of Madness, or something else to that effect?

Failing this, perhaps PaulG, if he is coming, would like to bring Merchant of Venus? Or Smallworld, Jamie?

Despite these very specific requests I am actually quite easy and will happily join in with anything else too! Very Happy Usually I won't even spend half an hour complaining about it, even if I am playing Masquerade.

I'm booked next week and probably taking the following one out but if you want to play BSG the week after I'm game - although it can be fairly lengthy so I'd definitely recommend only people that know how to play it join in so we can keep it moving...

I can certainly bring Merchant of Venus, and I'm keen to play it, but wondering whether its length might make it more suited to a Sunday session? I know Steveygee wanted to play this too (and I think he's even played before). I could also be interested in the others on the list if anyone is bringing them...

I've never played BSG but I really want to. Is it definitely too long to play, with noobs, on a Tuesday?

I would like to attend on 29th
Lizzy - I have a new game that I would like to try with you. It's only about half an hour and easy to learn but I think you will like it - please could we do that on Tues?

Paul & I would also like to play this but share your concern that it might be a bit long for a Tues for noobs - but what if we all read the rules in advance? That would save time and make it feasible (plus I get really bored during rules)

Okay, that's games for next Tuesday, next Sunday, and Tuesday three weeks from now sorted. Now I need to work out what I'm doing on Tuesday the week after next, the Wednesday two full moons after Halloween, and what I'm having for dinner.

Small World and War of the Ring are both medium weight, right? I reckon we could fit them both in one evening.
