I currently have:
1 XXL (and need 3 in total)

1 XXXL (and need 2 in total)
Does anyone still have any from last year as I know some people kept them.
They are the same design as this year, if so I can get them cleaned up and we could use them again this year...
I think I probably still have my t-shirt from last year Rob, if so, more than happy to reuse it (it's not XXL or XXXL though).

I think I've still got mine, I'll have a look in a bit and let you know...

Re: Roll With It 2016
Would it be possible for me to get my hands on some flyers for this?
A few people I've spoken to have expressed interest and a few pubs/groups who play have said they could stick a flyer up somewhere if I could get them one.

Re: Roll With It 2016
Hi John, Iv got loads of flyers, I'm just finding it tricky getting them to people at the moment as Iv got a baby who is deciding not to sleep.
I do work on ecclesall road, so could maybe meet you in that area one day, otherwise I'm spending the day on Thursday flyering so could come drop some with you then...
On the note of competitions, does anyone have any ideas about running a massive game of Zombies! (The one where you have to escape to a helipad)
I've briefly spoken to Jim at patriot games who has suggested running a massive game where people can buy extra lives (with money going to charity). He suggested running it as an ongoing game and the winner gets a prize. I'm just not sure how to determine a winner if it's ongoing... :S

Hey Rob. I could come by your place of work and pick up some flyers tomorrow (Friday) around 5-6 pm which I could then disseminate to as many or few Sheffield libraries as you like, if you would like that to be done. If you have enough, our libraries can have them out for people to take, or alternatively, they can just have one up for display. Though if it's the latter, I can't promise the volunteer libraries would have space or be willing to do so. Anyway, let me know.

That's great Samuel
Also Andy I finish work at 5:30 so if you are able to meet me around then that would be great.
I've got thousands of flyers so can let you have loads. I really appreciate it.
I'm going to put together a list of all the games you say you can bring. I'll then post it up here so we can keep an eye on duplications (a couple of duplicates isn't bad, but it probably wouldn't be great if you all ran exactly the same game lol) it could also help highlight any games that could be used for competitions too

Is there an online version of the flyer Rob? Im thinking of posting to a FB group I'm a member of, it's not a boardgames group, but I know quite a few members are keen on boardgames, so this may be right up their street.

Re: Roll With It 2016
Can everyone pause promoting the event for this weekend?
Today Iv had some news from the venue that they have had to cancel the event due to the club being drawn at home on the day of the event in the FA cup
I think I have secured another venue (Sheffield Hallam Union bar, HUBs) and Iv got a meeting tomorrow to confirm.
This does mean the flyer is pretty much useless though...

Yeah the new venue is cheaper and may help promote it to students, however there isn't free parking...
On a plus note, it is pretty much next door to the bus station and train station as well as tram stop.

No problem Rob. Sucky news about Sheffield United, very shoddy of them to allow you to book and then pull at last minute.
Better luck with the HUBs!
Re: Roll With It 2016
The new venue will limit what I can bring as I'll have to be able to carry it...
Pitchcar is heavy... might have to miss Flick em up for some smaller lighter games.

I've already thought about this as Jim will have issues getting a stall set up. So I'm going to see if we can make use of the loading bay. They don't normally have things going on on a Sunday so it might be okay.
I'm still confident that we'all go ahead with the event and confident it will be a success as I can now better target students.
I'm also going to discuss the possibility of a promo night or 2 at the union bar, where I can demo games / flyer for the event. If this is an option would anyone be interested?

Re: Roll With It 2016
Hi guys
I can now confirm the new venue will be the Hallam Uni Students Union (HUBs) all other details are the same.
We have the whole first floor which is rather spacious.
With regards to unloading, we can park outside the front main entrance but will need to move our cars afterwards.
The event starts at 10 but we can enter from 9 to set up.
If anyone is able to be there from 9 to help lend a hand moving tables and putting up banners and balloons that would be great too

It is however pretty cheap - only £1 for the day.

Since I'm catching a lift with Aneurin I'll be there for 0900 too
