Hello!

I'm new here and would like to come along on Tuesday. I thought it would be good to introduce myself. I've only recently started getting into Board games, the only two I currently own are Betrayal at House on the Hill (A fantastic Horror themed game, can be quite silly at times) and Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game (zombie survival), the latter of which I have only played once so far. Due to my lack of experience I couldn't say if I have a preference to any type of game yet so I'm up for anything. I would be happy to bring either of these if anyone else would like to play, Betrayal is 3-6 players and DOW is 2-5.

Spectre Ops sounds like fun, however I wouldn't want to impose if others would rather play.

Anyway I look forward to meeting you all!
(Just to note, I'm working untill 5pm Tuesday so would be coming shortly after work)

There's usually a good few games being played so there should be plenty to choose from. Some games are arranged beforehand (as above) and some just turn up and play.

As Dale says there are games agreed here and other stuff on the night too - you're more than welcome to join in for Specter Ops, but I'm also confident you'll find takers for DoW - that's a popular game at the club. Betrayal at House on the Hill is a bit more polarizing I think, but personally I love it

Thank you both for the replies. Definitely up for Spectre Ops. I've had a look into it and the gameplay looks very interesting. I like the traitor aspect to the game as well. I look forward to playing it.

Hey Dave would love to fill up the last two slots with me and a mate of mine (Jacob) who I'm bringing along.

Also rich if you bring betrayal of house on the hill, I am totaly in haven't played that game in years and would love the trip down memory lane.

I'm imperial assaulting - aka making Karl miserable as we smash his stormtroopers into new tuba-ware.
We are about 50% of the way through out Hoth Campaign. So it's really a closed group.

However I'd be up for deception Dave afterwards of there is time. Are you bringing yours or shall I bring mine?

I can bring betrayal if there will be enough interest!

Not sure there will be TBH - both Specter Ops and Imperial Assault can run a little long However I'll bring my copy - I can always leave it in your trust if I have to leave before the game is done, you're only round the corner!

I'd like to play Spectre Ops again; sadly I'll not be here this Tuesday, have my indie game dev meet-up thing. Luckily they keep making me play Avalon at the end of the evening, so at least I'll get some gaming fix...

Agree but if we only get one mission done there will be time. If you can bring yours that would be ace... Kes wants Kingsburg so with all IA and that I'll be weighted down.

I'm sure me and Jacob will give it a go, been ages since I've played it ( that is if we have time after sepecter ops)

Request - im looking for a helping hand to felt the boards we play on. I've got some nice green felt for us. Looks like a nice sunny day. My plan is to use spray adhesive outside in the beer garden. I could do with a helping hand or two. I can be at the Uni arms from 5pm if anyone is willing.

Also cool! I thought about starting at 6pm but I'm a bit worried it might not dry in time. Don't want people's stuff sticking to them.

I'll do one with Liz and then time how long it takes to dry. We can have the other covers cut and ready and use as table cloths if it takes a while to dry. If it's quick you can help when you arrive.

I'll be down and will bring a bag o'games, maybe Panamax and a few unplayed games, though always happy to be tempted over to another table...
